A Little About Me ...or How Did You End Up Here???
Beautiful Glacier National Park
Thank you for visiting my website! I live in the town of Whitefish in beautiful Northwestern Montana,very close to breathtaking Glacier National Park.
I have to thank my amazing mother for installing in me the love of sewing which grew into a great love of quilting! I am constantly amazed at the endless possibilities that the artform presents to us. The journey is what makes this so much fun.
I've had a brick and mortar quilt shop in the past where we offered classes as well as did custom sewing and design work. The birth of my daughter necessitated me leaving my beloved shop but I missed it terribly!!
The years have passed and I have thought about my shop and how much I have missed the creativity that flowed there from my employees, partner and customers. When my best friend approached me this year about opening an online store, I felt that it was a sign from above that it was time for me to go back to what I loved doing most of all. So here I am!!!
I run the store out of a shop in my home where I, once again, offer classes and a place to come to learn, have fun and explore your own personal creative style.It is sheer delight for me to look upon the face of a new quilter when they finish their first quilt. The glow on their face, with the pride they feel at their accomplishment, is simply the very best reward that I get from my job.
Having the shop in my home also allows me to be able to offer the best quilting fabrics, patterns and notions at discounted prices.
I enjoy learning new things on my computer as well and have absolutely been mesmerized by EQ6! I will be offering a custom pattern making service in the future as well as posting some of my own patterns in my free pattern section.
LOL...now if I could just figure out how to put more hours in the day so I can work on all of the wonderful,exciting ideas I have for my site!!
